Lo que pasa y lo que podría venir

Things are moving about. It's a matter of looking carefully. And I'm not talking about the daily fuss that appears in the newspapers. Education this, transport that. Nothing too important so as to call the attention out of surprise. But there are things still that go a bit unnoticed, and which need not appear in the media to acquire relevance. In that case, it's somehow relative; one makes things relevant in the way one devotes attention to them.

To the point: at University there's a lot going on. I get this feeling of possibility, and I don't want to get too excited because I know failure can be right around the corner. La Ruta también me da esa sensación, pero la posibilidad de catástrofe es un tanto menor. Quizás es más correcto decir que lo que ha ido sucediendo académica e intelectualmente en la universidad me ha obligado a repensar cosas. Pero a la vez es posible que los cuestionamientos terminen generando más escozor del que tengo la expectativa que van a provocar. A mi modo de ver, es esa la forma de lograr ciertos cambios dentro del Grupo. Apelar al conocimiento que se genera en la Ruta producto del estudio y quehacer universitario, y que no es tan fácilmente objetable desde la tribuna de la jerarquía o años de circo scoutivo. Generar un foco que sea capaz de pensar el Grupo gracias a lo que entregan las distintas carreras, capaz de defenderse con el conocimiento competente de la disciplina para legitimar los planteamientos. Maybe that's the way of doing things.
