Checks and balances

Why don't they talk about the US using Bukowski as an example?

How is that a supposedly 'small town' record store's got the last Sigur Ros compilation album?

Meaning, how much you're really able to manage. Not only in terms of space (physical, mental), but also in terms of how reality seems to slip in without the most minimal utterance of warning. So it then happens that you actually surprise yourself caught up in the middle of the street watching out for the ice as if everything were perfectly normal. And then you talk with people and they seem awkwardly nice. Then you come to realise: 'The king is a thing -- of nothing' (i do so much hate these fucking keyboards without any accents and all the keys mixed up - since i haven't been able yet to set the laptop, etcetera. For instance, the parentheses are in a different key so everytime i try to close one it seems to be opening).

Today I started packing my suitcases

What's more odd is precisely that it didn't feel odd. It didn't feel like 'saying goodbye', even if perhaps now I'm leaving for more time and the people I care for are much more important than the ones before.

Waking up

'Is it possible that the world is itself without meaning?'

Oh, Virginia...

'Now, tell me about your mother'

Cuello

Don't you get the feeling, sometimes, looking at the sky or watching a film that starts looking up, that you're going to keep raising your head and that your neck'll break and leave you perpetually looking at the sky?

I think about it, you know, and it's beautiful...

Wash your teeth after every meal, look both sides before you cross

Would it be possible to actually live with the constant threat that routine will makes us disappear? To say, for instance, that your teeth would vanish (in one strike or progressively) after washing them every day. How could such a thing make you go on and lead a 'normal' life? How could you live actually, always with the threat of disappearence?

Hermosamente absurdo!
